Johannes Weydenkeller, son of Johannes Weydenkeller & Anna Magdalena Haunis, was born 12 August 1742 in Magolsheim.
Johann Weitenkeller [sic], a single blacksmith (Schmied), arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the snow-brig named Maria Sophia under the command of Skipper Johann Bauert.
Johann Weydeneller [sic] is recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
Johann Weidenkeller, a blacksmith (Schmied), and his wife Anna Maria are recorded on the 1767 census of Jost in Household No. 60. They had arrived there on 19 August 1767.
Ludwig Weidenkeller from Jost is recorded on the 1798 census of Norka in Household No. Nr175.
The Weidenkeller family is recorded on the 1834 census of Norka in Households No. 29 and 224.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Weitenkeller [sic] came from the German region of Württemburg. The 1767 census records that Johann Weidenkeller came from the German village of Magulze [Magolsheim] in the Schwaben (Swabia) region.
