Peter Weigandt, a farmer, his wife Anna, and children (Johannes, age 20; Anna, age 18; Wilhelm, age 7) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Nikolaus Peter Pink.
Peter Wiegandt / Wigand, his wife Margaretha, and children (Johannes & Anna Marg.) are recorded twice on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Nieder-Monjou on 3 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 48.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Peter Weigandt came from the German region of Isenburg while the 1767 census records that he came from the German region of Friedberg.
