Paul Weigel, a farmer, his wife Anna, and children (Margaretha, age 13; Christoph, age 8; Anna, age 7) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 22 July 1766 aboard the pink Lev under the command of Lieutenant Fyodor Fyodorov.

Paul Weigel, a farmer, and his surviving son Christoph (age 10) are recorded on the 1767 census of Pfeifer in Household No. 7. They arrived in Pfeifer on 15 June 1767.

Christoph Weigel and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Pfeifer in Household No. Pf67.

Kaspar Weigel from Pfeifer and his family are recorded on the 1857 census of Josefstal in Household No. 23.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Paul Weigel came from the German region of Mainz. The 1767 census records that he came from the village of Aschaffenburg.
