Michael Weinberg, a farmer, his wife Anna Katharina, and daughter Anna Katharina (age 17) settled in the Volga German colony of Graf on 10 June 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 7.

The 1767 census records that Michael Weinberg came from the German region of Würzburg and that his wife Anna Katharina came from the German village of Friesack in the Brandenburg region.
