Johann[es] Lorey, his wife Anna Utilia, and [step-]daughter Anna Magdalena [Werth] (age 12½) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
Widower Johannes Lorey, a farmer, is recorded on the 1767 census of Nieder-Monjou in Household No. 92. He had settled in Nieder-Monjou on 3 August 1767.
Orphan Magdalena Werth (age 16) is recorded on the 1767 census of Nieder-Monjou in Household No. 92.
The 1767 census records that Magdalena Werth came from the German region of Isenburg.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Werth family among the Volga German colonies.
