Christoph Wiener, a farmer, and his wife Anna Barbara settled in the Volga German colony of Bauer on 20 July 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 8.

Christoph Wiener is recorded on the 1798 census of Bauer in Household No. Br36 along with his daughter and her family.

The 1767 census records that Christoph Wiener came from the German village of Crumstadt in the Hessen-Darmstadt region.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Wiener family among the Volga German colonies.
