Friedrich Wiesner, a silversmith (Silberschmied), his wife Maria, and children (Anna, age 18; Friedrich, age 10; Anna Sophia, age 7; Maria Katharina, age 5; Anna Margaretha, age 1½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 May 1766 aboard the galliot Anna Katharina under the command of Skipper Daniel Geier.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Katharinenstadt on 5 March 1767 along with a note that the family relocated to the colony of Hummel in 1768.
Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Friedrich Wiesner came from the German region of Zweibrücken.
