Discussion & Documentation

Andreas Wilde, a single tailor (Schneider), is recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Nieder-Monjou in Household No. 56.

It is not known in which colony he settled.

The 1767 census records that Andreas Wilde came from the German village of Nieder-Weisel.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Wilde family among the Volga German colonies.
