Johann Peter Wilhelm, son of Johann Georg & Magdalena Wilhelm, was baptized in Büdingen on 13 October 1724. Margaretha Sabina Thönges, daughter of Geörg Christoph & Catharina Margaretha Thönges, was baptized in Büdingen on 16 February 1735.

Johann Peter Wilhelm & Margaretha Sabina Thönges married in Büdingen on 5 August 1751. 

Johann Peter and Margaretha Sabina had nine children whose baptisms are recorded in the parish register of Büdingen (each also born in Büdingen): (1) Johann Georg, baptized 16 July 1752; (2) Eleanora Wilhelmina, baptized 25 August 1754; (3) Conrad, baptized 12 December 1756; (4) Johann Caspar, baptized 15 October 1758, died 24 April 1759; (5) Johannes, baptized 8 Febuary 1761; (6) Johann Ernst, baptized 28 August 1763, died 15 January 1766; (7) Johann Andreas, baptized 26 December 1765; (8) Philip Reinhardt, born 23 January 1768, baptized 28 January 1768; and (9) Johann Peter, born 1 February 1770, baptized 5 February 1770.  

Peter Wilhelm, his wife Margaretha Zavina [sic], and children ([a] Johann Georg, 20; Anna Eleonora, age 18; [b] Johann Konrad, age 16; [c] Johannes, age 13; [d] Andreas, age 12; [e] Philipp, age 6; Peter, age 3) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 2 July 1772 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Hartwig.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Pobochnaya on 4 July 1773.

They are recorded on a 1773 list of Pobochnaya settlers (No. 11).

Sabina Margaretha [sic] Wilhelm and her two youngest sons (Johann Peter, age 28; Peter Karl, age 25) are recorded on the 1798 census of Pobochnaya in Household No. Pb14.

[a] Johann Georg Wilhelm and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Pobochnaya in Household No. Pb24.

[b] In 1777, Konrad Wilhelm moved from Pobochnaya to Krasnoyar.

[c] Johannes Wilhelm and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Pobochnaya in Household No. Pb27.

[e] Philip Reinhardt Wilhelm is recorded on the 1798 census of Pobochnaya in Household No. Pb19.

In 1793, Johann Ludwig Wilhelm left Pobochnaya.
