Johann Heinrich Zinn from Großenmoor, and Anna Kunigunda Quantz, daughter of Johannes Quantz, were married in Burghaun on 6 June 1747. They had three children, each born in Burghaun: (1) Anna Eva, born 21 February 1748; (2) Anna Maria, born 22 April 1750; and (3) Johann Adam, born 26 January 1753. Johann Heinrich Zinn died on 11 January 1756. Anna Cunigunda remarried to Georg Göbel on 1 May 1759. Georg Göbel died on 15 April 1760. Anna Cunigunda again remarried to Valentin Rommel on 16 July 1760.
Valentin Rommel, Anna Kunigunda, and their combined Rommel & Zinn children immigrated to Russia, arriving from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Johann Hermann Anderson.
Johann Adam [Zinn] (age 15) is recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Hussenbach. The 1798 census of Hussenbach records Johann Adam Zinn in Household No. Hs040.
