Herber (Kind)

Johann Philipp Herber(t) married Christina Gress. They had five known children, four of them baptized in the Evangelical Church of Bad Nauheim, a village 35 kilometers north of Frankfurt am Main: (1) Johannes, born on 18 July 1750, baptized on 21 July 1750; (2) Johann Michael, born on 4 November 1751, and baptized on 7 November 1751; (3) Johann Bernhard, born on 10 August 1754, and baptized on 11 August 1754; (4) Anna Elisabetha, born in 1758; and (5) Anna Maria, born on 18 August 1762, and baptized on 22 August 1762.

Herdt (Moor)

Johann Adam Herdt, son of Leopold & Anna Margaretha Herdt, was baptized in Offenbach on 13 May 1745. He married 4 April 1766 in Büdingen to Maria Barbara Zipp from Offenbach. She had been born in Offenbach on 4 August 1745.

Adam Herdt, a craftsman (Handwerker), his wife Maria Barbara, and daughter Maria Elisabeth (age 1) are recorded on the 1767 census of Moor in Household No. 61. They had arrived in Moor on 18 June 1767.

In 1788, Adam Herdt and his family moved from Moor to Pobochnaya.

Hergert (Yagodnaya Polyana)

Johann Caspar Herget [sic], son of Heinrich Herget & Agnes Hoffmann, was born in 1705 in Bindsachsen. He married in 1728 in Ortenberg to Christina Maria Pforsdorfer. He married in 1733 in Wenings to Amalia Maria Nagelschmidt. He married 3rd wife Barbara Maria Schleuning. They had at least one son, Conrad Wilhelm , born in Nieder-Seemen in 1742. Barbara was born in 1715 and died in Nieder-Seemen on 12 September 1747.

Henn / Hönn (Reinwald)*

Johann David Henn, son of Johannes & Maria Magdalena Henn, was born and baptized on 22 July 1716 in Weiler (today known as Weiler an der Zaber), west of Brackenheim. He married Anna Rosina Gruber, daughter of Johann Christoph & Anna Barbara Gruber, on 17 June 1751 in the Weiler Lutheran Church. Anna Rosina was born on 2 October 1728 and baptized on 3 October 1728 in Weiler.

Johann David & Anna Rosina had a son, Johann Christoph, who was also born and baptized in Weiler, on 9 March 1752 and 10 March 1752 respectively.

Hetzel (Dietel)

Hans Georg Hetzel, son of Hans Georg Hetzel, was born about 1731 in Sand, Hanau-Lichtenberg. Georg was married in Kork, Hesse-Darmstadt on 21 January 1755 to Margaretha Heÿd, daughter of Georg Heÿd & Anna Heitz. She was born in Neumühl, Hanau-Lichtenberg on 3 October 1732.

Heusel (Frank)

Johannes Georg Heusel, son of Georg Philipp & Maria Margaretha Heusel, was born on 30 December 1730 in Mümling-Grumbach and baptized on 1 January 1731 in neighboring Höchst. He married there on 28 November 1752 to Anna Barbara Haschert, daughter of Peter Haschert. They had two children, both baptized in Höchst: (1) Johann Leonhard (born 29 September 1756, baptized 30 September 1756) and (2) Johann Wendel (born 2 November 1759, baptized 5 November 1759).

Heronemus

Johann Adam Hieronymus was born 20 September 1711 in Lorsbach, Limburg, Hessen.

Widower Adam Hieronymus arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the ship Der Junge Heinrich under the command of Skipper Heinrich Niemann along with his two daughters: Margaretha (age 21) and Dorothea (age 11).  On this same ship were widow Katharina Hieronymus and her two children: Elisabeth (age 13) and Johann (age 11).

Hild(t) (Kutter)

On 16 May 1766, the family of Hans Heinrich Hildt left for Russia from Leisenwald, northeast of Büdingen. The family consisted of Hans Heinrich, his wife Barbara, and three children: Anna Barbara (age 20), Heinrich Wilhelm (age 9), and Elisabeth (age 1).

Heinrich Hilt, a farmer, his wife Barbara, and children (Barbara, age 18; Heinrich, age 6) arrived from Lübeck at the port in Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the snow-brig named Christina under the command of Skipper Jacob Stappenberg.

Hill (Walter)

Georg Wilhelm Hill was born 18 October 1712 in Altheim near Dieburg. He married Anna Sybilla Roth on 3 July 1736 in Altheim. She was born 14 April 1710, also in Altheim. They had six children: (1) unnamed stillborn son, 1737; (2) Johann Bernhard, born 8 July 1738; (3) Johann Konrad, born 3 December 1740; (4) Georg Friedrich, born 19 July 1744, died 5 March 1747; (5) Johann Wendel, born 6 October 1745; and (6) Johann Helfrich, born 26 April 1747.

Hoch / Hock (Frank-1)

Johann Heinrich Hoch was born about 1700 in the German village of Bergen near Hanau.

Heinrich Hock, a farmer, his wife Katharina, and children (Anna, age 16¼; Johann [Heinrich], age 15½) arrived from Reval [Estonia] at the port of Oranienbaum on 30 May 1766 aboard the pink Novaya Dvinka under the command of Lieutenant Ivan Perepechin.He and his family settled in the Volga German colony of Frank in 1767.
