Kildau / Kilthau (Kautz)

Johann Georg & Anna Maria Kildau had six children, each baptized in the Evangelical Church of Einselthum, 20 kilometers west of Worms: (1) Heinrich, on 12 January 1749; (2) Johann Adam, on 12 September 1751; (3) Conrad, on 24 February 1754; (4) Johann Jacob, on 30 November 1756; (5) Maria Elisabetha, on 28 February 1759; and (6) Johann Casimir, on 30 July 1761.

Johann Georg Kildau and his family emigrated to Russia. They arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a Russian packet-boat named Saratov under the command of Lieutenant Ivan Perepechin

Kimmel (Walter)*

Balthasar Kimmel (sometimes recorded as Kümmel in German documents), son of Johann Philipp & Susanna Elisabeth Kimmel, was born on 16 January 1734 in Gelnhausen, northeast of Hanau. He married there on 10 January 1757 to Susanna Maria Schenk, daughter of Johann Heinrich Schenk & Susanna Maria Schneider. Susanna Maria had also been born in Gelnhausen on 27 December 1732. They have three known children, each born in Gelnhausen: (1) Johann Balthasar, born 1 September 1759; (2) Wilhelmine Karoline, born 6 March 1762; and (3) Elisabeth Dorothea, born 19 July 1764.

Kaucher

Hanß Eberhard Kaucher, son of Hanß Jacob Kaucher & Anna Maria Müller, was baptized on 17 March 1684 in Stein. He married on 3 February 1711 in Lauffen to Elisabeth Wärtmann, daughter of Johann Michael Wärtmann.

Eberhard Kaucher, son of Hanß Eberhard Kaucher & Elisabeth Wärtmann, was born 16 February 1721 in Stein. He married Eva Eberle, daughter of Sebastian Eberle.

Among the children of Eberhard Kaucher & Eva Eberle was Johann Georg Kaucher, born on 6 January 1761 in Stein.

Kinderknecht

Joseph Kinderknecht, son of Joseph Kinderknecht & Anna Catharina Buseri, married on 20 April 1744 to Anna Barbara Schledohr, daughter of Claud Schledohr and Margaretha Lenert, in Ormesheim, today just southeast of the Saarbrücken airport. They had three children, all born in Ormesheim: (1) Johannes Peter, born 6 January 1745; (2) Johannes, born 20 May 1746; and (3) Magdalena, born 23 January 1748.

Joseph Kinderknecht died in Ormesheim on 22 May 1748, and his widow remarried there on 3 November 1750 to Joseph Wassinger.

Kindsvater

Johann Hartmann Kindsvater, son of Johann Michael & Katharina Elisabeth Kindsvater, was born 1 July 1718 in Herxheim-am-Berg. He married on 31 January 1747 in Herxheim-am-Berg to Anna Margaretha Müller.

The Hartmann Kindsvater, his wife Anna, and children (Johann, age 20; Daniel, age 18; Elisabeth, age 16½; Sophia, age 14; Justina, age 8; Werner, age 5) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 13 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Johann Grapp.

Kissler

Johann Peter Kihsler was born about 1710 in Bannerod, Germany.

Johann Peter Kissler, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard the galliot Johannes under the command of Skipper Stahl.

Joh. Heinr. Kisler [sic], his wife Anna Elisab., and son Joh. Henr. (age 3) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Klaassen / Klassen

Jacob Klaassen, son of Dirk Klaassen (1765-1843) & Anna Penner (1769-1824), was born 15 March 1793 in Fürstenwerder, Gross Werder, Prussia. He married 10 February 1818 to Helena Hamm, daughter of Martin Hamm (1746-1825) & Barbara Fröse (1760-1807). She was born 26 April 1793 in nearby Peterhagenfeld, Gross Werder.

Jacob, Helena, and their children moved Russia in 1856. The parents settled in Köppental where they are listed in Household No. 9 on the 1857 Census. Their son Martin and his family settled in Hahnsau where they are listed in Household No. 20 on the 1857 Census.

Klaus (Balzer / Moor / Norka)

Related Klaus families from Düdelsheim settled in three different Volga German colonies (Balzer, Moor, and Norka):

(1) Johann Stephan Klaus, son of Johann Caspar & Anna Barbara Claus, was baptized in the village of Düdelsheim on 29 December 1717. He married 26 November 1744 to Susanna Kling, daughter of Johann Caspar Kling & Anna Cunigunde Velten. Susanna had been born on 27 March 1717 in Düdelsheim.

Held(t) (Dönhof)

Johann Heinrich Held, son of Johann Martin & Anna Held, married 28 February 1741 in Georgenhausen to Anna Eva Wagner, daughter of Johann Christian Wagner & Anna Magdalena Beck. She had been born 5 June 1720 in Georgenhausen.

Hoch / Hock (Frank-1)

Johann Heinrich Hoch was born about 1700 in the German village of Bergen near Hanau.

Heinrich Hock, a farmer, his wife Katharina, and children (Anna, age 16¼; Johann [Heinrich], age 15½) arrived from Reval [Estonia] at the port of Oranienbaum on 30 May 1766 aboard the pink Novaya Dvinka under the command of Lieutenant Ivan Perepechin.He and his family settled in the Volga German colony of Frank in 1767.
