Schmidt (Warenburg-3)

Ludwig Schmidt, a farmer, his wife Anna, and daughters (Anna, age 7; Margaretha, age 5) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 18 June 1766 aboard the ship Mann und Frau under the command of Skipper Daniel Berg.

Ludwig Schmidt, a farmer, his wife Anna Katharina, and daughter Anna Maria (age 8) settled in Warenburg on 12 May 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 34.

Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that that Ludwig Schmidt came from the German region of Hanau.

Nikolaus Schmidt, a farmer, his wife Anna, and children (Christoph, age 8; Sebastian, age 7; Margaretha, age 5; Michael, age 4; Melchior, age 1) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on  18 June 1766 aboard the ship Mann und Frau under the command of Skipper Daniel Berg.

Nikolaus Schmidt, a barrell maker (Fassbinder), his wife Anna, and sons (Christoph, age 10; Sebastian, age 9; Melchior, age 3) are recorded on the 1767 census of Warenburg in Household No. 91. They had settled there on 12 May 1767.

Rühn*

The baptism of the Anna Margaretha Rühn [sic], daughter of Johann Conrad Rühn, is recorded on the parish register of Niedermittlau on 10 April 1707. She married Heinrich Tönges from Niedergründau.

The baptisms of two children of Heinrich Tönges [sic] and Anna Margaretha Rähn [sic] are recorded in the parish register of Niedergründau: (1) Johann Heinrich; and (2) Johann Georg, born 12 June 1747, baptized 16 June 1747.
