Herold (Schönchen)

Michael Herold, a farmer, and his wife Anna settled in the Volga German colony of Schönchen on 17 August 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 15.

The widow and children of Michael Herold are recorded on the 1798 census of Schönchen in Household No. Sn23.

The 1767 census records that Michael Herold came from the German village of Arnstein.

Herklotz

August Herklotz, a barber (Friseur), and his wife Maria settled in the Volga German colony of Schönchen on 17 August 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 3.

August Herklotz and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Schönchen in Household No. Sn45.

The 1767 census records that August Herklotz came from the German region of Dessau.

Kamp

Peter Kamp, a farmer, and his wife Anna settled in the Volga German colony of Schönchen on 3 August 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 8 along with a note that they relocated to the colony of Hummel in 1768.

The 1767 census records that Peter Kamp came from the German village of Steckelberg.

Jäkel (Luzern)

In 1789, Jakob Jäkel moved from Luzern to Schönchen.

Jakob Jäkel, son of the deceased Jakob Jäkel, is recorded on the 1798 census of Schönchen in Household No. Sn41 along with a note that he is working in Katharinenstadt.

Jung (Schaffhausen)

In 1777, Christoph Jung and his family moved from Schaffhausen to Schönchen.

Christian [sic] Jung from Schönchen and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Hockerberg in Household No. Hb09.

The death of Christoph Jung in 1827 is recorded on the 1834 census of Hockerberg in Household No. 21.

Jung (Schönchen)

Sebastian Jung, a cobbler (Schuhmacher), and his wife Christina settled in the Volga German colony of Schönchen on 17 August 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 77.

Sebastian Jung and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Schönchen in Household No. Sn37.

The 1767 census records that Sebastian Jung came from the German village of Elberkirchen [?].

Göttig (Schuck)

Heinrich Göttich, a farmer, his wife Anna Elisabeth, and stepchildren (Jakob [Krämer], age 18; Amalia [Krämer], age 14) are recorded on the 1767 census of Schuck in Household No. 33. They had settled there on 1 May 1767.

In 1790, Johann Georg Götte [should be Göttig], presumed son of Heinrich Göttig, moved from Schuck to Pfeifer.

Georg Göttig from Schuck and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Pfeifer in Household No. Pf02.

Thiel (Schwed)

In 1780, Konrad Thiel moved from Schwed to Dreispitz.

In 1782, Johann Georg Thiel moved from Schwed to Moscow.
