Joseph Ritter, a cook, his wife Katharina, and daughter Elisabeth (age 12) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.

Joseph Ritter, his wife Katharina, and daughter Elisabet [sic] (age 12) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Joseph Ritter, a cook (Koch), his wife Katharina, and daughter Elisabeth (age 13) are recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Nieder-Monjou in Household No. 31.

August Beltz, a farmer, and his wife Barbara arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.

August Peltz [sic] and his wife Barbara are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that he died in route [and possible her as well].

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that August Beltz came from the German region of Birstein.

Julianna Schindler, a single farmer, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.

Julianna Schindler (age 20) recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

It is not known in which colony she settled.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Julianna Schindler came from the German region of Nassau.

Paul Schmidt, a single tailor, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.

Paul Schmidt is recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that he died in route.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Paul Schmidt came from the German region of Mainz.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Schmidt family among the Volga German colonies.

Georg Meier, a cobbler, his wife Elisabeth, and sons (Johann, age 3; Konrad, age ½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.

Hans Georg Meier, his wife Elisabeth, and sons (Johann Heinrich, age 3; Conrad, age ½) are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

It is not known in which colony they settled.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Georg Meier came from the German region of Hamm.

Johann Georg Mehner, a farmer, his wife Katharina, and daughter Elisabeth (age 11) are recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Nieder-Monjou in Household No. 22.

It is not known in which colony they settled.

The 1767 census records that Johann Gerog Mehner came from the German village of Sterzhausen.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Mehner family among the Volga German colonies.

Christian Schäfer, a farmer, his wife Elisabeth, and daughter Elisabeth (age 3-months) are recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Nieder-Monjou in Household No. 19.

It is not known in which colony they settled.

The 1767 census records that Christian Schäfer came from the German village of Ziegenbach in the Hessen region. [Ziegenbach is in Bayern (Bavaria). Perhaps it is Ziegenberg which is in Hessen?]

There are no known surviving male lines of this Schäfer family among the Volga German colonies.

Andreas Mück, a farmer, and his wife Anna arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 8 August 1766 aboard the galliot Anna Katharina under the command of Skipper Johann Joachim Janson.

Joh. And. Mück and his new?] wife Margaretha are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

It is not known in which colony they settled.

Kaspar Meier, a farmer, and his wife Margaretha are recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Nieder-Monjou in Household No. 5.
