Nikolaus Rottiere (age 38), a perfumer (Parfümeur), and his wife Anna Katharina née Kronauer (widow Kämpfer) (age 46) are recorded on the 1776 Katharinenstadt Grundbuch [Land Register] in Household No. 31.

The 1776 Katharinenstadt Land Register records that Nikolaus Rottiere came from the French village of Irogensen in the Champagne region and that his wife came from the German village of Hallenberg in the Westfalen region.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Rottiere family among the Volga German colonies.

Johann Friedrich Schlottmann and his brothers (Christian & Heinrich) are recorded on the 1834 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. 350 along with a note that they had been added to the colony in 1816, but had been absent since 1818.

Anna Magdalena Weinert [née Schlottmann], presumed sister of the above brothers, and her family are recorded on the 1834 census in Household No. 234.

Anna Magdalena Weinert née Schlottmann and her family are recorded on the 1850 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. 310.

Johann Gottfried Eian (age 28), a tailor (Schneider), his wife Anna Maria (age 19), and daughter Maria Charlotta (age ½) are recorded on the 1776 Katharinenstadt Grundbuch [Land Register] in Household No. 211 along with a note that they are in Saratov.

The 1776 Katharinenstadt Land Register records that Johann Gottfried Eian came from the German town of Dresden, that his wife came from the German village of Grünberg in the region of Hessen-Darmstadt, and that daughter Maria Charlotta had been born in the Volga German colony of Zürich.

Anton Winter (age 24), a tailor (Schneider), is recorded on the 1776 Katharinenstadt Grundbuch [Land Register] in Household No. 210 along with a note that he is living in the household of Friedrich Soltner. A further note records that he married elsewhere.

The 1776 Katharinenstadt Land Register records that Anton Winter came from the German village of Lutzberg Nieder Wusel [perhaps Nieder-Wöllstadt] in the Wetterau region.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Winter family among the Volga German colonies.

Maria Margaretha Voigt (age 14) is recorded on the 1776 Katharinenstadt Grundbuch [Land Register] in Household No. 208 along with a note that she married Heinrich Lotz. [See Lotz Family.]

The 1776 Katharinenstadt Land Register records that Maria Margaretha Voigt came from the town of Zürich in Switzerland.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Voigt family among the Volga German colonies.

Julianna [Klein] (age 9) arrived in the Volga German colony of Katharinenstadt on 27 August 1766. She is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 107 along with her sister Margaretha née Klein and brother-in-law Kaspar Wagner. [See Wagner Family.]

Orphan Julianna Klein (age 18) is recorded on the 1776 Katharinenstadt Grundbuch [Land Register] in Household No. 205 along with a note that the is living in the household of Kaspar Wagner.

Adam Müller (age 35), a single carpenter (Zimmermann), is recorded on the 1776 Katharinenstadt Grundbuch [Land Register] in Household No. 199 along with a note that he was "let go completely" (Ganz ablelassen).

The 1776 Katharinenstadt Land Register records that Adam Müller came from the region of Würzburg.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Müller family among the Volga German colonies.

Jean Girard (age 34), a single distiller (Distillateur), is recorded on the 1776 Katharinenstadt Grundbuch [Land Register] in Household No. 193 along with a note that he moved to Moscow in 1779.

The 1776 Katharinenstadt Land Register records that Jean Girard came from an area of southeast France (Die Dauphine).

There are no known surviving male lines of this Girard family among the Volga German colonies.

Gottlieb Malbe (age 37), a Prussian Lieutenant (Preussischer Leutenant), and his wife Theresia [surname not recorded] (age 40) are recorded on the 1776 Katharinenstadt Grundbuch [Land Register] in Household No. 190 along with a note that they are in Simbirsk.

The 1776 Katharinenstadt Land Register records that Gottlieb Malbe came from the German village of Kothen in the region of Anhalt-Böhmen (Bohemia).

There are no known surviving male lines of this Malbe family among the Volga German colonies.
