Biography: 

Bradley George Boxberger, son of Rodney W. & Marjorie Boxberger, was born 27 May 1988 in Fullerton, California. He is an American professional baseball relief pitcher for the Arizona Diamondbacks of Major League Baseball. He previously played for the San Diego Padres and Tampa Bay Rays.

Boxberger attended the University of Southern California, where he played college baseball for the USC Trojans. His father, Rod, was also a professional baseball player.

Brad's Volga German ancestors come from the colonies of Ährenfeld, Kratzke, Merkel, and Dietel.
