Lawrence David "Larry" Ochs, son of David Ochs & Matilda Emma Strecker, was born 9 March 1924 in Russell, Kansas. He was an American politician, serving as the 36th mayor of Colorado Springs, Colorado, from 1975-1979.
He died on 23 April 2003 in Colorado Springs.
Larry's Volga German ancestors came from the daughter colony of Schönfeld.
