Friedrich Jäger, a farmer, his wife Elisabeth, and sons (Wilhelm, age 4; Peter, age 1½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 21 July 1766 aboard a koff named Alette under the command of Skipper Wybe Hendricks.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Norka. Friedrich's widow, Anna Elisabeth, is recorded on the 1767 census of Norka in Household No. 97 remarried to Lorenz Hergenröder.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Friedrich Jäger came from the German district of the Pfalz.
