Kandelin
Johann Kandelin, a single farmer, settled in the Volga German colony of Galka on 15 September 1765. He is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 10.
The widow and children of Johann Kandelin are recorded on the 1798 census of Galka in Household No. 49.
Johann Christian Kandelin, son of Johann Kandelin, and his family relocated from Galka to Dobrinka before 1834 and are recorded on the 1834 census of Dobrinka in Household No. 153.
The death of Michael Kandelin, stepson of Johannes Hoffmann, in 1827 is recorded on the 1834 census of Rohleder in Household No. 27. There do not appear to be an surviving male descendants of this Michael Kandelin among the Volga German colonies.
Johann Georg Kandlin from Galka and his family are recorded on the 1857 census of Oberdorf in Household No. 42.
The 1767 census records that Johann Kandelin came from the German region of Keksholm.
