The parish register of Büdingen records the marriage of Johann Conrad Kahl and Anna Barbara Kilian on 10 March 1766.
Konrad Kahl, a farmer, his wife Anna Barbara, and son Georg Ludwig (age 2-weeks) are recorded on the 1767 census of Dobrinka in Household No. 78. They had settled there on 20 June 1767.
In 1796, Georg Ludwig Kahl moved from Dobrinka to Schwab.
The 1767 census records that Konrad Kahl came from the German village of Lauterbach in the Riedesel region.
