There are two Buchholz families that settled in the Volga German colony of Graf on 10 June 1766. Their relationship to each other is not recorded on the 1767 census, but they are presumed to be father and son.
(1) Michael Buchholz, a farmer, and his wife Elisabeth are recorded on the 1767 census of Graf in Household No. 29.
(2) Philipp Buchholz, a farmer, and his wife Margaretha are recorded on the 1767 census of Graf in Household No. 30.
The 1767 census records that both Michael and Philipp Buchholz came from Luxembourg.
