Asmus Müller, a farmer, his wife Anna, and children (Nikolaus, age 19; Asmus, age 14; Anna, age 8) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 14 June 1766 aboard a ship named Die Neue Fortuna (The New Fortune) under the command of Skipper Ahrens Steingraber.
Asmus Müller, his unnamed wife, and three unnamed children are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
Orphan Samuel [sic] Müller is recorded on the 1767 census of Stahl am Tarlyk in Household No. 1 along with the Johannes Stahl family. The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Müller and Stahl families. They had arrived in Stahl am Tarlyk on 13 August 1767.
Nikolaus Müller (age 48) and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Stahl am Tarlyk in Household No. St44.
The death of Klaus [sic] Müller in 1806 is recorded on the 1811 census of Stahl am Tarlyk in Household No. 45.
Christian Heinrich Müller and his brother Heinrich Konrad, sons of Nikolaus Müller, are recorded on the 1811 census of Stahl am Tarlyk in Household No. 45 along with a note that they relocated ot the colony of Bangert [year not recorded].

Son Asmus Müller is recorded on the 1798 census of Stahl am Tarlyk in Household No. St09.
