Johann Ernst Bleibtreu, a merchant (Kaufmann), his wife Katharina, and daughter Eleonora (age 5) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 29 July 1766 aboard a ship named Apollo under the command of Skipper Friedrich Detloff Mörenberg.
Kasimir Bleibtreu and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Kutter in Household No. Kt51.
Johannes Bleibtreu and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Kutter in Household No. 43 & the 1857 census of Kutter in Household No. 57 - without male heirs.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Ernst Bleibtreu came from the German region of Isenburg.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
