Bender (Unknown-2)*

Widow Anna Bender arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 24 July 1766 aboard a barque named Georg under the command of Skipper Adam Bairnsfair.

Widow Elisabet [sic] Bender is recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

It is not known in which colony she settled.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Anna Bender came from the German region of Friedberg.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Bender family among the Volga German colonies.

Weidemann (Unknown)*

Johann Weidemann, a farmer, his wife Anna, and children (Heinrich, age 21; Johannes, age 18; Charlotta, age 15; Dorothea, age 10; Elisabeth, age 4) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.

Johann Weidemann, his wife Margaretha, and children (Conrad, age 21; Johannes, age 18½; Charlotta, age 15½; Dorothea, age 11) are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that father Johann died in route.

Schitrumpf (Did Not Arrive)*

Konrad Schitrumpf, a farmer, and his wife Anna arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.

Conrad Schitrumpf and his wife Anna Barbara are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that they both died in route.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.

Just [sic] Georg, a farmer, his wife Anna, and daughters (Veronika, age 3; Julianna, age 5-weeks) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 24 July 1766 aboard a barque named Georg under the command of Skipper Adam Bairnsfair.

Joh. Jost Georg, his wife Anna Margaretha, and daughters (Veronia [sic], age 3; Juliana, age ¼) are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that both father and youngest daughter died in route.

Kiel*

Johann Kiel, a farmer, his wife Anna, and children (Katharina, age 9; Konrad, age 6; Martin, age 4) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 24 July 1766 aboard a barque named Georg under the command of Skipper Adam Bairnsfair.

Johannes Kiel, his wife Anna Elisabeth, and children (Cathar. Elisabeth, age 9; Conrad, age 6; Joh. Martin, age 4) are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that Johannes and Conrad died while in route.

It is not known in which colony they settled.

Konrad Figell, a farmer, his wife Katharina, and children (Johann, age 13; Nikolaus, age 10; Gertrude, age 4; Elisabeth, age 1½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 24 July 1766 aboard a barque named Georg under the command of Skipper Adam Bairnsfair.

Conrad Figell, his wife Anna Catharina, and children (Johannes, age 13; Conrad, age 10¼; Gerdruta, age 4; Maria Elisabet, newborn) are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that father Conrad and the newborn daughter died in route.

Dietrich Bister, a baker, and his wife Elisabeth arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 24 July 1766 aboard a barque named Georg under the command of Skipper Adam Bairnsfair.

Dittrich [sic] Wilhelm Bister, his wife Elisabetha, and newborn daughter Magdalena Elisabeth are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that baby Magdalena Elisabeth also died in route.

Anton Müller, a farmer, and his wife Anna arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 October 1766 aboard the English frigate Love and Unity with skipper Thomas Fairfax.

Joh. Anton Müller and his wife Anna Catharina are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

It is not known in which colony they settled.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Anton Müller came from the German region of Runkel.

Christian Frei, a single mason, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 October 1766 aboard the English frigate Love and Unity with skipper Thomas Fairfax.

Christian Frey [sic] is recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that he died in route.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Christian Frei came from the German region of Nassau.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Frei family among the Volga German colonies.
