After several years, the original Volga German villages of the General Alvear Colony became crowded, and there was not enough land to cultivate. Settlements began to sprout up in bordering areas.
General Racedo, like many other towns in Entre Ríos, does not have a specific founding date, but it was estalished on lands that were donated by the Racedo family next to the Central Entrerriano Railroad station which had been built in 1887.
Andreas Ring, a single farmer, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 24 July 1766 aboard a barque named Georg under the command of Skipper Adam Bairnsfair.
Andreas Ring (age 16) is recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
It is not known in which colony he settled.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Andreas Ring came from the Elsass [Alsace] region.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Ring family among the Volga German colonies.
Christian Gottlieb Teussner, a baker, his wife Dorothea, and daughter Dorothea (age 2½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 8 August 1766 aboard the pink Cargo under the command of Lieutenant Moses Davydov.
Christian Teussner and his wife Dorothea Elisabeth are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that Christian died in route.
It is not known in which colony his widow settled.
The 1767 census records that Christian Gottlieb Teussner came from the German region of Breslau.
Konrad Pipenbrinck, a turner, and his wife Dorothea arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Nikolaus Peter Pink.
Johann Pipenbrinck and his wife Dorothea Christina are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
Katharina Pipenbrinck, perhaps a later wife of Konrad Pipenbrinck, is recorded on the 1798 census of Basel in Household No. Bs12 as the wife of Michael Delkmann.
Christian Ertler [sic], a carpenter, his wife Margaretha, and daughters (Louisa, age 18; Dorothea, age 11) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Nikolaus Peter Pink.
Christian Hertel, his wife Anna Maria, and daughters (Louissa [sic] Elisabeth, age 18; Louissa [sic], age 14) are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Oranienbaum in 1767 along with a note that both Christian and Anna Maria died in route.
It is not known in which colony the surviving daughters settled.
Jakob König, a farmer, and his wife Katharina arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Nikolaus Peter Pink.
Jacob König and his wife Dorothea are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
Andreas Jakob König, a single ropemaker (Seiler), is recorded on the 1767 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. 175 working as a day laborer (Lohnarbeiter). He had arrived in Katharinenstadt on 27 August 1767.
Today, Leppin is administratively part of the municipality of Arendsee.
Philipp Honigmann, a farmer, his wife [Jo]Anna, and daughter Wilhelmina (age 14) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard an English frigate under the command of Skipper Adam Beerfeier.
Phillip [sic] Honigmann, his wife Johanna Sophia, and daughter Hentrigetta [sic] (age 11) are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that Philipp died in route.
It is not known in which colony his widow and daughter settled.
Today, Reibertenrod is administratively part of the municipality of Alsfeld.
Konrad Leinert, a single farmer, and his brothers (Jakob, age 15; Just, age 12) are recorded on a list of Beauregard recruits (Household No. 151) appended to the 1767 census of the Volga German colonies.
It is not known in which colony they settled.
The 1767 census records that Konrad Leinert came from the German village of Wertheim.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Leinert families.
