Franz Achstädter, a farmer, his wife Susanna, and daughter Anna Maria (age ½) are recorded on the 1767 census of Volmer in Household No. 37. They had settled there on 18 July 1767.

The widow and daughter of Franz Achstädter are recorded on the 1798 census of Volmer in Household No. Vm15.

Johannes Achstädter is recorded on the 1798 census of Volmer in Household No. Vm34 along with his sister and brother-in-law Johannes Sauer.

[Heironimus Ach]städter (age 15), presumed son of Franz Achstädter, is recorded on the 1798 census of Volmer in Household No. Vm01 along with the Brost family. The 1798 census does not record a relationship between the Brost and Achstädter families. [Subsequent document identify this boy as Heironimus Achstädter.]

Johann[es] Achstätter from Volmer is recorded on the 1811 census of Neu-Kolonie in Household No. 35 along with a note that he had arrived in Neu-Kolonie from Volmer in 1811.

Johannes Achstätter and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Neu-Kolonie in Household No. 59.

Johannes Achstätter and his family are recorded on the 1850 census of Neu-Kolonie in Household No. 106.

The death of Johannes Achstätter in 1855 is recorded on the 1857 census of Neu-Kolonie in Household No. 116.

In 1832, Heronimous Hochstädter and his brother Georg moved to Rothammel. Heronimous Hochstädter and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Rothammel in Household No. 52.

The 1767 census of Volmer records that Franz Hochstädter came from the German village of Hardheim in the Würzburg region.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
