The parish register of Eckartshausen records the birth of a daughter to Johannes Aschenbrenner & Friederica Elisabetha Schön: Catharina Elisabetha Aschenbrenner, born 19 December 1764 in Himbach.
Johannes Aschenbrenner and his wife Friedrika Elisabeth arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 August 1766 aboard the pink Novaya Dvinka under the command of Lieutenant Perepechin.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Norka on 15 August 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 55.
Johannes Aschenbrenner, his wife Elisabeth, and children (Johann Heinrich, age 6; Johannes, age 4; Magdalena, age ½) are recorded on the 1775 census of Norka in Household No. 137.
Three Aschenbrenner families from Norka relocated to Brunnental in 1859.
Johannes is recorded on the Oranienbaum passenger list as a farmer, and on the 1767 census as a craftsman.
Widow Elisabeth Aschenbrenner née Schön is recorded on the 1798 census of Norka in Household No. Nr144.
Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that he came from the German district of Isenburg.
