Blattner / Plattner
Johann Georg Plattner, a farmer, his wife Maria, and son Johannes settled in the Volga German colony of Kamenka on 6 July 1765. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 3 along with newborn Maria Barbara (age ½-year).
A note on the 1767 census also records that orphans Johann Gottlieb & Sophia Kettler are living with the Plattner family. The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Plattner and Kettler families.
Anton Blattner moved from Kamenka to Pfeifer in 1835 [sic] where he is recorded on the 1834 census in Household No. 177.
The death of Michael Blattner in 1833 is recorded on the 1834 census of Kamenka in Household No. 41. A note on the entry for this family records that Michae'ls son Peter moved to Semenovka.
Peter Blattner, son of Michael Blattner, from Kamenka is recorded on the 1834 census of Semenovka along with a note that he relocated from Kamenka to Semenovka in 1826.
Johannes Blattner from Kamenka and his family are recorded on the 1857 census of Josefstal.
The 1767 census records that Johann Georg Plattner came from the German village of Reez [?].
