Kornelius Deisling, a farmer, his wife Anna, and children (Aliorda, age 22; Johannes, age 11; Wilhelm, age 8; Johannes [Heinrich], age 3) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard an English frigate under the command of Skipper Adam Beerfeier. Gertrude Amer, a single woman from The Netherlands, is also recorded on this same ship. [See Amer Family.]
Cornelius Fesseling [sic], his wife Anna, and children (Arnolda, age 22; Johannes, age 11; Wilhelm, age 8; Johannes, age 3) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that son Wilhelm died en route. Single Gertruda Amer is also recorded on this same transport list.
It appears that Anna died and Cornelius remarried to Gertrude Amer and then died himself, because widow Gertrude [Amer] Teusel [sic] and the two surviving Deisling sons (Johannes, age 12, Heinrich, age 3) are recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Nieder-Monjou in Household No. 36 [and repeated in Household No. 68].
Daughter Arnolda [Deisling] married Peter Albert and is recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. 30. They are recorded on the 1798 census of Zug in Household No. Zg09.
In 1789, Heinrich Deisling moved from Schönchen to Graf.
Heinrich Deisling from Schönchen and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Wittmann in Household No. Wm09.
The death of Heinrich Deisling in 1827 is recorded on the 1834 census of Wittmann in Household No. 44.
