Christoph Eberhard, son of Georg Eberhard, was born in 1712 in Spöck, north of Karlsruhe. Christoph married on 4 June 1732 in the Blankenloch Lutheran Church to Anna Margaretha Metz, daughter of Adam Metz.

They had nine children, each baptized in Blankenloch: (1) Johann Georg, baptized 14 August 1732; (2) Anna Margaretha, baptized 20 November 1735; (3) Johann Christoph, baptized 3 January 1737; (4) Jakob Martin, baptized 23 July 1739; (5) Maria Katharina, baptized 6 May 1742; (6) Johann Adam, baptized 11 March 1745; (7) Christina, baptized 24 June 1748; and (8 & 9) twins, Anna Maria & Johann Friedrich, baptized 25 July 1752.

Christoph Eberhardt, his wife, and six of their children immigrated to Denmark (Schleswig-Holstein), departing from Altona, Duchy of Holstein, on 29 June 1761 under the leadership of Johann Thomas Gabler. All swore allegiance to King Friedrich of Denmark on 24 July 1761.

[a] On 17 May 1763, Christoph Eberhardt (the father), his wife, and younger children are recorded on the farmstead "Gott behüt" in the Danish colony of Christiansholm.

They requested release from the Danish colonies on 1 May 1765 and joined the migration to Russia. He is not recorded among the Volga German colonies.

[b] On 17 May 1763, Johann Georg Eberhardt (born 1732) and his family are recorded on the farmstead "Nordstern" in the Danish colony of Christiansholm.

The parish register of Christkirche in Rendsburg [Denmark] records on 5 November 1762 the baptism of Jürg Jacob Eberhardt, son of Hans Jürg Eberhardt & Catharina Pfunder?.

The parish register of Christkirche in Rendsburg [Denmark] records on 11 November 1762 the death of Christoph Eberhardt, son of Georg Eberhardt.

They are last recorded among the Danish colonies on 4 January 1765.

They joined the migration to Russia and are recorded on the 1775 census of Grimm in Household No. 47.

[c] On 17 May 1763, Johann Christoph Eberhardt (born 1737) and his family are recorded on the farmstead "Trotz Teutschland" in the Danish colony of Christiansholm.

The parish register of Christkirche in Rendsburg [Denmark] records on 23 July 1762 the death of an unnamed child of Christoph Eberhardt.

They are still recorded in this colony in December 1766.

[d] On 17 May 1763, Jakob Martin Eberhardt (born 1739) and his family are recorded on the farmstead "Saurer Schweiß" in the Danish colony of Christiansholm.

They are last recorded among the Danish colonies on 16 November 1765. Jakob Martin Eberhardt is not recorded among the Volga German colonies.

[e] The parish register of Hohn [Denmark] records on 14 July 1761 the marriage of Johann Adam Eberhardt (born 1745) to Eva Catharina Metz.

The parish register of Christkirche in Rendsburg [Denmark] records on 25 July 1762 the baptism of Johann Christoph Eberhardt, son of Johann Adam & Eva Catharina Eberhardt.

On 17 May 1763, Johann Adam Eberhardt (born 1745) and his family are recorded on the farmstead "Cimbrien" in the Danish colony of Christiansholm.

The parish register of Hohn [Denmark] records on 2 September 1763 the death of Eva Catharina Eberhardt, wife of Johann Adam Eberhardt.

Johann Adam Eberhardt is last recorded among the Danish colonies on 7 January 1765.

He joined the migration to Russia and is recorded on the 1775 census of Grimm in Household No. 46.

In 1788, Johann Adam Eberhardt's widow remarried to Just Jung and moved to the colony of Schwab along with two children.

Descendants of these Eberhardt immigrant families are identified on the 1798 census in Schwab (Household No. Sb21) & Grimm (Households No. Gm040 & Gm059).

The Eichhorns record that this Eberhardt family came from the German village of Spöck.
