Philipp Frisch, a farmer, his wife Maria Anna, and children (Abram, age 6; Henrietta, age 2) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard the Danish galliot Nord Stern under the command of Skipper Detlev Belling.

Philip Frisch, his wife Barbara, and children (Abraham, age 6; Henrietta, age 2¼) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that son Abraham died en route.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Warenburg on 12 May 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 153.

In 1790, Johann Ferdinand Frisch moved from Warenburg to Dinkel.

Johann Frisch from Warenburg and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Jost in Household No. Jo51.

Johann Frisch and his family are recorded on the 1811 census of Jost in Household No. 33 along with a note that they relocated to the colony of Straub.

Johannes Frisch from Jost and his son Johann Anton (age 17) are recorded on the 1811 census of Straub in Household No. 62 along with a note that father Johannes Frisch had died there in 1806.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Philipp Frisch came from Prussia while the 1767 census records that he came from the German region of Magdeburg.
