Günther (Schwab)
Johann Adam Günther from Breidenbach near Steinau an der Strasse & Anna Maria Mund were married on 12 April 1766 in the Lutheran Church of Büdingen.
Johann Adam Günther, a farmer, and his wife Anna Margaretha arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 13 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Lieutenant Gawril Poduzki.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Schwab on 8 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 5.
Johann Georg Günther from Schwab and his family are recorded on the 1857 census of Friedenberg.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Adam Günther came from the German region of Darmstadt. The 1767 census records that he came from the German village of Breidenbach bei Steinau.
