Johann Andreas Glück & Margaretha Bauer were married 12 June 1766 in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Lübeck.
Andreas Glück, a farmer, his wife Margaretha, and daughter Margaretha (age 14-days) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a galliot named Frau Catharina under the command of Skipper Johann Joachim Jenßen.
Andreas Glück and his wife Margreta are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that wife Margreta died in route.
Andreas Glück, a miller (Müller), and his wife Christina settled in the Volga German colony of Nieder-Monjou on 3 August 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 63.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Andreas Glück came from the German region of Manebach. The 1767 census records that Andreas Glück came from the German region of Magdeburg.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Glück family among the Volga German colonies.
