Heile
Leonhard Heil, a hunter (Jäger), and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 May 1766 aboard the galliot Anna Catharina under the command of Skipper Daniel Geier.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Kaneau on 7 June 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 56.
In 1786, Leonhard Heile and his family moved from Kaneau to Graf.
Leonhard Heile and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Graf in Household No. Gf01.
The death of Leonhard Heile in 1818 is recorded on the 1834 census of Graf in Household No. 54.
The 1767 census records that Leonhard Heil came from the German village of Egenik in the Schwaben (Swabia) region.
