Heim (Pfeifer)
Peter Heim, a farmer, and his wife Maria Anna settled in the Volga German colony of Pfeifer on 15 June 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 18.
The widow and children of Peter Heim are recorded on the 1798 census of Pfeifer in Household No. Pf70.
Michael Heim, son of Peter Heim, from Pfeifer is recorded on the 1811 census of Preuss in Household No. 39 along with a note that he had arrived in Preuss from Pfeifer in 1800.
The 1798 census of Pfeifer (Household No. Pf94) records that Andreas Heim is working in Schuck.
Alois Heim, grandfather of Sir Andre Geim, served as teacher (Schulmeister) in Kamenka before the 1941 Deportation.
The 1767 census records that Peter Heim came from the German village of Orb.
