An article by Hermann Wäschke records the following going to Russia:

Christlieb [sic] Hentze, with his wife and 3 sons and one daughter, from Naundorf, originally from Saxony. His house was sold to his brother, Johann Gottfried Hentze, in Oranienbaum.

Gottlieb Hentze, with his wife and 3 children (two sons & one daughter), from Naundorf, originally from Saxony. his house was sold to his brother, Johann Gottfried Hentze, in Oranienbaum.

Christoph [sic] Henze, a farmer, his wife Johanna, and children (Gottlieb, 16; Gottfried, 14; Johanna, age 10; Christoph, age 3) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax. On the same ship was Gottlieb Henze, a farmer, his wife Johanna, and children (Johann, age 17; Gottfried, age 10½; Anna, age 7).

Christlieb [sic] Hentze [sic], his wife Elisabetha, and children (Gottlieb, age 16; Gottfried, age 14; Johanna Christiana, age 10½; Johann Christoph, age 3) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that sons Gottfried and Johann Christoph died en route. They were traveling with Gottlieb Hentze [sic], his wife Joh. Sophia, and children (Gottlieb, age 17½; Gottfried, age 10½; Louisa, age 7) - and notes indicate that wife Joh. Sophia and son Gottfried from this family also died en route.

Christian Henze, a farmer, his wife Elisabeth, and children (Gottlieb, age 17; Christina, age 12) are recorded on the 1767 census of Boisroux in Household No. 13. Widower Gottlieb Henze, a farmer, and his children (Gottlieb, age 16; Louise, age 7) are recorded on the 1767 census of Boisroux in Household No. 15. They had all settled there on 7 June 1767.

In 1788, Gottlieb Henze and his families moved from Boisroux to Reinhard. The widow and children of Gottlieb Henze from Boisroux are recorded on the 1798 census of Urbach in Household No. Ur08.

In 1796, August Henze moved from Boisroux to Stahl am Karaman.

Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census records that Christian Henze came from the German region of Dessau.
