Johann Peter Kissler, a farmer, his wife Anna, and children (Anna, age 23; Johann Kaspar, age 16) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 18 August 1766 aboard the galliot named St. Johannes (Saint John) under the command of Skipper Carstens Stahl along with his son Johann Heinrich Kissler, his wife Anna, and son Johann (age 3).
Joh. Heinr. Kisler [sic], his wife Anna Elisab., and son Joh. Henr. (age 3) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
Johann Heinrich Kissler, a craftsman (Handwerker), his wife Anna Elisabeth, and his brother Johann Kaspar (age 18) are recorded on the 1767 census of Frank in Household No. 52.
Johann Peter's daughter, Anna Margaretha, was born in Bannerod on 10 October 1743 and was baptized there on 12 October 1743. She married Johann Paul Wacker who had arrived in Frank in 1767. The Wackers are listed on the 1767 census of Frank in Household No. 53. [See Wacker Family.]
There are no other Kihslers recorded in Bannerod before Johann Peter Kihsler shows up there.
