There are two Kohlmeier families that settled in the Volga German colony of Graf on 10 June 1766. The 1767 census does not record their relationship to each other.
(1) Jacob Killmeyer [sic] & Mar. Christina Prister were married 28 May 1765 in Roßlau.
Jakob Kohlmeier, a farmer, is recorded on the 1767 census of Graf in Household No. 21 along with his wife Maria Christina, son Friedrich (age 1), and brother Mathias (age 13).
In 1796, Friedrich Kohlmeier moved from Graf to Biberstein.
(2) Peter Kohlmeier's widow is recorded on the 1767 census of Graf in Household No. 32 remarried to Johann Wilhelm Stollmann.
The marriage of Petrus Köllermeier [sic] & Maria Magdalena Fich is recorded in Roßlau on 28 May 1765.
The 1834 census of Graf records in Household No. 85 that Jakob Kohlmeier and his siblings moved from Graf to Mariental in 1822.
The 1834 census of Graf records in Household No. 88 that Jakob Kohlmeier moved from Graf to Herzog in 1832.
The 1767 census records that Jakob Kohlmeier came from the German village of Heilbronn in the Kurmainz region.
