Krell
Heinrich Krell, a farmer, and his wife Anna arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Schilling and are recorded there on the 1775 census in Household No. 2.
Heinrich Kreel [sic] and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Schilling in Household No. Sg028.
Johann[es] Krell, son of Heinrich Krell, from Schilling and his son Georg Philipp Krell (age ¼) are recorded on the 1811 census of Stahl am Tarlyk in Household No. 40 along with a note that he had arrived in Stahl am Tarlyk from Schilling in 1810.
Johannes Krell and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Stahl am Tarlyk in Household No. 48.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Heinrich Kreil came from the German region of Isenburg.
