Friedrich Lehm, a farmer, and his wife, Anna Barbara, settled in the Volga German colony of Kautz on 20 July 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 7 along with their new-born daughter, Charlotte, and step-daughter, Anna Barbara.
In 1788, widow Barbara Lehm moved from Kautz to Dietel.
Daughter Anna Charlotta Lehm from Kautz is recorded on the 1798 census of Kolb in Household No. Ko18 as the wife of Johann Heinrich Schneider.
The 1767 census records that Friedrich Lehm came from the German town of Berlin in Prussen (Prussia).
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
