Müller (Dietel-3)
There are several Müller families that settled in Dietel.
Johann Müller, a farmer, his wife Anna, and their family (Anna, age 17; Maria, age 15; Andreas, age 12; Christian, age 10; Johannes, age 8; Christina, age 7; Michael, age 4; and Peter, age 1/4) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 13 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Johann Grapp.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Dietel.
Andreas Müller and his wife, Margaretha Wolf, are recorded on the 1798 census of Bauer (Br02) as being from Dietel.
Christian Müller and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Dietel in Household No. Dt25.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Müller came from the German region of Alsace.
