Nürnberger
Johann Andreas Ludewig [sic] & Catharina Nürnberger were married on 11 April 1766 in the Lutheran Cathedral (Evangelische Kirche Dom) in Lübeck. This Catharina Nürnberger is believed to be related to Valentin Nürnberger because they arrived together in Oranienbaum and both settled in the Volga German colony of Ober-Monjou.
Valentin Nürnberger, a farmer, and his wife Anna arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 May 1766 aboard the galliot Anna Catharina under the command of Skipper Daniel Geier.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Ober-Monjou on 5 March 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 17.
The 1767 census records that Valentin Nürnberger came from the German village of Nadlinger in the region of Würzburg.
