Johannes Oswald, son of Johannes Oswald, married in Eich on 23 July 1726 to Maria Elisabetha Ruff, daughter of Peter Ruff.

Among their children were (1) Johann Valentin, born 25 October 1729; and (2) Conrad, born 25 August 1732.

(1) Valentin married Maria Elisabetha Bajers, daughter of Lorenz Bajers, on 5 June 1764.

Valentin Oswald, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a Russian packet-boat named Svyatoi Pavel (St. Paul) under the command of the Lieutenant Fyedor Sornev. They settled in Kautz on 21 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 19.

(2) Conrad married Anna Barbara, the widow of Christoph Kimmel, on 6 June 1764. Conrad and Anna Barbara had a daughter, Anna Maria, who was born 22 March 1765.

Anna Barbara & Christoph Kimmel had 3 children: (1) Johann Georg, born 7 September 1753; (2) Maria Elisabetha, born 17 February 1757; and (3) Anna Margaretha, born 4 September 1760.

Konrad Oswald, a farmer, his wife, and step-children arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 21 July 1766 aboard the snow-brig Mercurius under the command of Skipper Christian Heinrich Abelßen. They settled in the Volga German colony of Kautz on 20 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 12.

In 1795, Jakob Ostwald and his wife moved from Kautz to Franzosen.

Jakob Ostwald and his descendants are recorded on the 1834 census of Franzosen in Households No. 18 & 99.

Friedrich Ostwald and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Kautz in Household No. 30.

Ostwald families from Neu-Hussenbach are recorded in the Siberian town of Rubtsovsk following the 1941 deportation.

The 1767 census records that both of these Oswald families came from the German village of Eich in the Pfalz.
