Widower Johann Reich remarried on 23 January 1716 to Margaretha Happel, daughter of Henrich Happel from Banneroth.
Their son [Johann] Henrich Reich was born in Glashütten and baptized 13 January 1717 in Wallernhausen.
Father Johann Reich died 17 January 1731 at the age of 68.
[Johann] Henrich Reich married on 3 January 1745 to Anna Margretha Möser, daughter of Joh. Henrich Möser (who died 5 August 1741) & the unnamed daughter of Joh. Nicolaus Valentin of Blofeld. Anna Margretha Möser had been born 12 February 1714.
After they were married [Johann] Henrich Reich & Anna Margretha Möser moved to Dauernheim where the following children were born: (1) Louisa, baptized 20 December 1747; (2) Henrich, born 2 September 1751; and (3) Susanna, born 14 September 1754, baptized 15 September 1754.
Widower Johann Reich, a farmer, and his children (Louisa, age 20; Johann [Heinrich], age 18; Susanna, age 13) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a galliot named Concordia under the command of Skipper Jakob Bauert.
The children survived to settled in the Volga German colony of Schwab on 8 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 44.
Johann Heinrich Reich from Schwab is recorded on the 1798 census of Galka in Household No. Gk43. Susanna Reich is also recorded there in Household No. Gk44.
Heinrich Reich from Galka and his family are recorded on the 1857 census of Frankreich in Household No. 1.
Johann Philipp Reich from Galka and his family are recorded on the 1857 census of Frankreich in Household No. 2.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Reich came from the German region of Darmstadt. The 1767 census records that this Reich family came from the German village of Daurgen [Dauernheim] in the Darmstadt region.
