Reich (Schwab)
Widower Johann Reich, a farmer, and his children (Louisa, age 20; Johann [Heinrich], age 18; Susanna, age 13) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a galliot named Concordia under the command of Skipper Jakob Bauert.
The children survived to settled in the Volga German colony of Schwab on 8 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 44.
Johann Heinrich Reich from Schwab is recorded on the 1798 census of Galka in Household No. Gk43. Susanna Reich is also recorded there in Household No. Gk44.
The 1767 census records that this Reich family came from the German village of Daurgen [Dauernheim?] in the Darmstadt region.
