Schwemmer (Grimm)
David Schwemmer and his wife Katharina immigrated to Denmark (Schleswig-Holstein), arriving in the city of Schleswig on 4 July 1761.
They are last recorded in Denmark on 22 April 1765. They joined the migration to Russia and settled in the Volga German colony of Grimm. They are recorded there on the 1775 census in Household No. 71.
In 1790, Andreas Schwemmer moved from Grimm to Dreispitz. The 1798 census of Dobrinka records Andreas Schwemmer from Grimm in Household No. Dr07.
The Eichhorns record that David Schwemmer came from the German Margravate of Baden-Durlach.
