Simon (Dobrinka)
Georg Michael Simon, a farmer, and his family immigrated to Denmark (Schleswig-Holstein) in 1761. They deserted the colony there and joined the migration to Russia in 1763.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Dobrinka on 29 July 1765. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 30.
In 1788, Michael Simon and his family moved from Dobrinka to Schwab.
The 1798 census of Enders records Sybilla Simon, widow of Michael Simon, and her children in Household No. En06.
Between 1834 & 1850, Heinrich Peter Simon and his family moved from Dobrinka to Hussenbach.
The 1767 census records that Georg Michael Simon came from the German village of Blankenhof in the Baden-Durlach region.
