Urban (Kamenka)
Jacob Urban, a farmer, his wife Anna, and children (Barbara, age 19; Anna, age 18; Lorenz, age 16; Jakob, age 10; Regina, age 7; Johann, age 1) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 20 May 1766 aboard the Danzig galliot Die Hoffnung under the command of Skipper Johann Heschke.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Kamenka on 1 March 1767 where they are recorded on the 1767 census in Household No. 71.
Lorenz Urban, son of Jakob Urban, is recorded on the 1798 census of Husaren in Household No. Hn22.
Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Jacob Urban came from Marienburg, Poland.
