The birth of Nikolaus Weber, son of Nikolaus Weber, on 6 February 1763 in Denmark is recorded on the 1835-1846 Communion Register of the colony of Dobrinka in Household No. 98.
They joined the migration to Russia and settled in the Volga German colony of Dobrinka on 29 June 1764. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 8.
In 1796, Johann Adam Weber moved from Dobrinka to Schwab.
Andreas, Georg Jakob, and Jakob Weber and their families from Dobrinka relocated to the daughter colony of Strassburg before 1857.

The 1767 census records that Nikolaus Weber came from the German village of Erstein [?] in the region of Birkenfeld [?].
