[Johann] Georg Jakob Weirauch, a farmer, his wife Eva Katharina, and children (Johann Friedrich, age 11; Margaretha Philippina, age 3) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 11 August 1766 aboard the Russian galliot named Citadel under the command of Midshipman Gregory Bukharin.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Schwab on 12 September 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 30.
In 1790, Jakob Weirauch and his family moved from Schwab to Dobrinka.
Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Georg Jakob Weirauch came from the German region of Erbach.
