Johann Henrich Wiederhold from Niedergründau & Elisabetha Heil from Unternaubel were married on 22 June 1766 in the Lutheran Church of Büdingen.
Johann Wiederhold and his wife Elisabeth arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 20 August 1766 aboard a galliot named Catharina Eleonora under the command of Skipper Peter Rehder.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Messer on 14 September 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 90.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Wiederhold was a farmer while the 1767 census records that he was a craftsman (Handwerker).
The 1767 census records that Johann Heinrich Wiederhold came from the German district of Isenburg.
